Agency duties:	The Local Planning Agency (LPA) is responsible for assisting in development and revision of the Lake County Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Regulations, and subsequent ongoing monitoring and oversight of its implementation. Participation involves extensive discussions of the current state of the County and planning for the period ending in the year 2025.

Member types:	(5) One representative from each of the five County Commission districts (3) Three citizens at-large (1) One representative from the Lake County School Board (1) Ex-officio, non-voting representative of a military installation acting on behalf of all military installations within Lake County
Term length:	4 years

Meeting times:	Third Thursday of every month at 9 a.m.
Meeting location:	Board of County Commission Chambers located on the second floor of the Lake County Administration Building, 315 W. Main St., Tavares
