Citizen input is always welcome at public hearings. Dates of public hearings will be advertised in the Lake Sentinel at least three days before the meetings. In July 2008, the County Manager will be submitting a proposed budget to the Lake County Board of County Commissioners for their review. According to Florida Statute, a tentative millage rate will be set by the Board prior to Aug. 4, 2008.
