Each year, grant funds are made available on a competitive basis through the Children’s Services Council (CSC), the Human Services and Community Enhancement Area Partnership Programs.
- CSC grants must target programs that are oriented towards prevention or early intervention programs for children.
- Human Services grant funds are directed to programs that meet a community need and improve the quality of life for individuals and families.
- The Community Enhancement Area Partnership Program looks to form partnerships with eligible unincorporated communities to improve quality of life in their neighborhoods by addressing infrastructure and public facilities deficiencies.
These grant programs utilize the same basic grant application (RFP) and application schedule. Although specific dates change from year to year, the application process generally starts in December of each year with applications being due in mid-February. Organizations are encouraged to contact Children's Services Council for more information or to be added to the list of potential service providers.
