The programs offered in the Lake County BCC University Catalog include practical techniques and instruction on employee supervision with emphasis on Lake County policies and procedures. The classes are geared to benefit experienced, recently promoted and aspiring supervisors. The core of the Supervisor Development training program is a four-part series on Performance Management.
- Overview of Performance Management and Corrective Action
- Documentation
- Coaching & Counseling
- Performance Appraisals
Supervisors are encouraged to also register for classes offered in the Leadership Development area.
Current and future Supervisor Development programs are advertised through the intranet and e-mail and available for registration through the Online Training Calendar.
