The Lake County Fire Rescue Division offers a variety of educational activities to inform the public about fire prevention. Upon special request, the Fire Rescue Safety Trailer, donated by the Mount Dora Kiwanis Club, travels throughout the County providing fire safety education. Speakers are available for community events, and there are programs geared specifically to children or other target audiences. For more information or to schedule a Lake County Fire Rescue appearance at a function, call (352) 343-9458 or e-mail aholmes@lakecountyfl.gov with at least a four-week advance notice of the event due to a high demand for these services.
