The Lake County Public Works Department Stormwater Section has requested that CDM develop a stormwater master plan for the community of Astor. Astor is generally located in northern Lake County along the west bank of the St. Johns River just upstream of Lake George and is adjacent to the Ocala National Forest. Astor is approximately 2.5 square miles in size and has a population of approximately 1,500. Currently, Astor has limited stormwater infrastructure and has a history of road and residential flooding issues. As a result, the County has initiated this study to identify system improvements to help address these issues
