| The 2009-2013 Transportation Construction Program became effective Oct. 1, 2008, and outlines transportation projects scheduled for the next five years that are either funded by impact fees, the transportation trust fund or sales tax funds from the voter-approved, one-cent sales tax referendum. To easily identify and locate projects, the applicable commission district(s) and a project tracking number that is used in all financial transactions and accounting functions have been included within the description of the project. Although we were faced with the challenge of managing priorities against a substantial decrease in revenue projections, new projects have been added and the construction element for some projects has been programmed.
